Canadian-born Leigh Douglas took out the final of the Glenorchy round of the Australian National Series in Hobart on the weekend, beating National Champion Claire Whiteman to take the race win as well as the National Series title.
Tasmanian rider Emma Lewiscame second, with Claire Whiteman in third. Claire has won the series title for the last two years, but had to settle for the National Championships win earlier in the season, and a second over all.
