Emmeline Ragot to race NZ National Series

Emmeline Ragot is spending summer down under, racing any Kiwi event that’s on and sticking around for the Nationals 2009.

The World Cup number 4 won every round of the three race Gravity Canterbury series in Chirstchurch, clinching the win with a significant margin in the final race. That was despite the wind pushing her off course and off the hill entirely in her second run, where she learnt all about New Zealand’s lovely gorse prickles.

While she’s clearly going very, VERY fast when she wants to, she’s not taking the Kiwi races too seriously and seems to be having a laugh. She rides for Suspension Center on a Turner bike, and will be getting their new DW link bike early next year. Nice!
