Tracy Moseley has set the fastest time in qualifiying for La Bresse DH World Cup 2009, with Sabrina Jonnier coming in second. Japan’s Mio Suemasa seeded third, which is a great start for her first downhill race of the year.

Emmeline Ragot, who was fastest in the timed practice runs, had to settle for fourth place after a mistake in the middle section cost her a lot of time. She was followed by three other French riders in fifth to seventh: Myriam Nicole, Celine Gros and Floriane Pugin.
