Sarah Walker is a New Zealand Olympian and currently a double World Champ in BMX (check out out article: Double Wins for Sarah Walker and Mariana Pajon at World BMX Champs) and last weekend she decided to have a go at mountain biking at the New Zealand National DH champs 2010. Despite only getting on a big bike for the first time this week, the Kawerau local took out the women's 4x win on Friday night, and came second in dual slalom and downhill as well.
Martha Hucker caught up with her to ask what she thought of her foray into the 26" world, whether she'll be sticking with it, and what the sport of downhill might need to do to become an Olympic sport...
