It’s just over a week until the first round of the Downhill Wordl Cup in Pietermaritzburg, South Africa, but unfortunately 2008’s Champion Rachel Atherton won’t be riding. According to cyclingnews.com she’s suffering nerve damage in her shoulder after riding her road bike into a truck in the US earlier in the year – more on that here. Get well soon, Rachel!
